It's Graduation Time! | Mountain Vista High School Senior Photographer

Hey, hey, hey....welcome to May, the busiest time of year for parents with school age kiddos.  Yep, not only are we going to our kids' end of year dance recitals, school choir performances, author's teas, and field trips all in the last two weeks of school; we are also celebrating graduations of our family and friends that have kids who are transitioning from high school to college and from college to "adulting".   

I had the privilege of capturing Ms. "K" at the beginning of her senior year as she was preparing to graduate from Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch.  We know "K" from our cheer gym (yes cheer is life in our house) and we have seen her progress from a young freshman to a confident senior, ready to jump into college life.   She came to her senior session ready to own it, which is what I love about cheerleaders; they love the camera and the camera loves them!  Here's what we got.  

So it was cold and dreary outside, but you never would have known it by the way K rocked this dress.  And just a friendly announcement, if you wear a dress like this to your senior session, I will make you twirl!  

Well folks, there you have it; another smart, confident and determined senior about to fly the coop and embark on the next phase of her journey.  Congratulations K (and family) on your graduation from Mountain Vista High School.  Thank you for allowing me to be a tiny part of your senior year! I can't wait to hear about all of your adventures during your first year of college.
