Cake Anyone? | Highlands Ranch Colorado 1st Birthday Photographer

I spent my Friday afternoon before "Snowmeggedon" with Ms. O.  This cutie just celebrated her first birthday and we continued the celebration with photos and cake.  You never know what to expect with a 1 year old, but Ms. O was the happiest, smiliest, easiest 1 year old that I have encountered in a long, long time! A few weeks  before the session her mom told me that she loved the camera and always smiles, so it should be a good session.  This momma was 100% correct and that made my photographer's heart happy!  And if you don't believe me, the proof is in the very first shot of the session. And when this (^^^^) is the very first shot of the session - you are jumping and screaming aloud (in your own head of course).  If you don't count some minor cropping, this folks is SOOC (straight out of camera)!

Now, do you see what I'm talking about  - she loves the camera?!!!  And the only time she got upset was when she had to share the spotlight with her big brother - hilarious!!!

Ms. O is a take charge kind of girl - you put her in a wagon, and what does she do?  Try to drive it immediately!  I love it!!!

So glad we got Mom in front of the camera, because as Moms, we are usually the ones behind the camera. All.the.time!

Someone was all excited about the "cake smashing" part and I don't blame her one bit!  It just doesn't get much cuter than this folks....<3...<3....<3...
