If you read my blog post last week, I don't have to remind you that it's May and it's crazy town and most of us are sending graduation gifts in the mail, attending graduation ceremonies, hanging out at open houses, all.the.things.  In our area we are on our second week of high school graduations from our two largest school districts and this cool guy graduates from Cherokee Trail High School today!  

I met his momma through a common friend and she was one of my first friends here in the Denver area, so I have known of this young man for almost 4 years now, and I feel honored to have taken his senior photos. Gio's a responsible kid, full of respect for his momma, takes care of his little brothers, and is an amazing basketball player.  He's headed off to Grand Canyon University in the fall, so he's been taking care of business in the classroom also.  You can see how much fun we had exploring the streets of Downtown Denver for his sunrise senior session.  

We couldn’t end Gio’s session without hitting the RiNo district because I love me some art walls. The morning was perfection for walking around RiNo! And speaking of walking, ya’ll please look at Gio’s fancy tennis shoes - apparently you don’t actually play basketball in those because they are too nice for that, lol.

Congratulations Gio on your graduation from Cherokee Trail High School.  I know this will be the first of many life accomplishments and I'm looking forward to hearing all about your next adventures!
