Brotherly Love, A Found Families Session | Denver Colorado Adoption Photography
This year I have had the privilege of photographing a couple of “Found Families” Sessions. Each of these sessions are so very special, because each family's story is so unique. The Fritzler family welcomed their son "L" a few short months ago, and he joined Mom, Dad, and younger brother "B". L and B are only 11 months apart, so you can imagine the excitement that has ensued because they both have a built in playmate available 24-7!
Our first photo was actually a re-make of their adoption announcement in which Dad, Mom, and B were sitting next to L's empty chair that held a sign with the expected date of L's arrival; and now...both chairs are filled. Soooo special!
As many of us know, the most important work right after a new addition arrives, is to intentionally work toward bonding. It was obvious that the Fritzlers had prioritized this by the playfulness and love all of them showed toward each other. And you just have to love Dad, he is the king of playfulness and the boys loved it!
As with any family session I do, I always make it a point to get a photo of Mom and Dad, so they can remember how it all started, before the kids came! Here's Mom and Dad.
We had a glorious end to our session, with the boys still being happy, and the sun peeking out; oh and did I mention, we had the best weather ever for late November! Fritzler family, I wish you all the joy and fun your hearts can stand during this exciting phase of life!
